HighTech Events was born in 2005 in the hottest nightclubs of the Meatpacking district. We began lighting nightclubs and dance parties then expanded into lighting corporate, art, and social events. As our clients' needs grew, we expanded into sound, video, and even larger scale staging, eventually changing our name to High TechEvents.
Over the course of a decade, our team has expanded to include the most skilled lighting, sound, and video technicians and engineers in the City. With many team members boasting over 20 years of experience, we are renowned for our technical precision and meticulous attention to detail. Our comprehensive working process encompasses the creation of 3D renderings and CAD drawings, crafted by our in-house technical team.
Setting us apart from other major event production houses, HighTech maintains a strong presence in the dance party scene. This not only keeps us youthful and trendy (ha!), but also fuels our design team's innovation and creativity. Dance parties serve as our testing ground for new techniques and equipment, which we later apply to corporate applications on a larger scale.
HighTech believes strongly in using only the best gear from our D&B Audiotechnik sound system (U2 and Coldplay only tour with D&B) to top HD projectors from Panasonic and Barco to lighting from GLP (German Light Products), Martin Professional and Varilite.
High Tech is well-known for creating amazing transformations especially in unconventional spaces. From the top of the Empire State Building to an old abandoned cathedral, but we’ve also been known to do a mean transformation of a conference room! And, not only do we handle all the event atmospherics but we provide the power distribution and generation to make it all work.
For the past 5 years, our expertise has focused on 360 integration, the seamless fusion of video, lighting, and audio.
